  Storage media are media that store data. They can be magnetic (e.g floppy disk, hard
  drive), optical (e.g. CD ,DVD) or flash memory e.g memory stick.
  
  The amount of memory is measured in bytes.
  1 byte = 1 letter e.g. a,d,f...
  1 KB = 1000 bytes
  1 MB = 1000 KB

Read -only media means that it only reads .

3.why are DVDs becoming increasingly popular?

DVDs are becoming popular , as they can store much more data than CD-ROM.

The Removable drives because you can move a document from one place to another and it has got lot of capacity.

You use it for many networks to back up data on hard disk and has a low cast storage. Tape drive, as it's low cost storage capacity

I will use a DVD-RW because you can put a lot of data.
